Building Process
- Site Prep: House staked out on lot, lot is cleared for house pad, house is re-staked.
- Foundation: Footing dug, footing inspected by local municipality, footing poured, foundation walls and piers constructed or monolithic slab railed, foundation inspected by Shumaker Homes and local municipality, garage filled, garage floor termite treated, garage floor poured with concrete.
- Framing: First floor framing, second floor framing, roof framing.
- Roofing: Felt installed, shingles installed.
- Rough Mechanicals: Plumbing installed, heating and air installed, electrical installed, insulation installed, rough inspection by Shumaker Homes and local municipality, exterior veneer installed.
- Drywall and Paint: Hang drywall, finish drywall, interior trim, hang cabinets.
- Finish Mechanicals: Countertops, plumbing trim, heating and air trim, electrical trim, appliances installed, hardware installed, shelves installed, mirrors installed, shower door installed, screens installed.
- Finish Floors: Hardwoods installed, carpet installed, pressure washing, final inspection with local municipality.
- Close Out: Shumaker homes pre-walk, punch out, homeowner orientation, homeowner sign-off.
- Post-Closing: 2-10 Warranty.
